OUR
HISTORY

Omega Delta Phi Fraternity, Inc. was founded on November 25, 1987, at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Established by seven men of vision, the fraternity was created to build a brotherhood that challenged traditional expectations of Greek life while promoting graduation, service, leadership, and community empowerment. Since its founding, Omega Delta Phi has grown into a national multicultural service and social fraternity guided by its values of Unity, Honesty, Integrity, and Leadership.

The Xi Chapter of Omega Delta Phi Fraternity, Inc. was chartered at the University of Oklahoma on November 23, 1996. As the first multicultural Greek organization established at OU and in the state of Oklahoma, Xi Chapter helped create space for multicultural brotherhood, representation, and service within the university community.

For nearly three decades, Xi Chapter has continued to build on that legacy through academic achievement, campus leadership, philanthropy, and community outreach. The Tomás Rivera Educational Empowerment Conference stands as one of the chapter’s most meaningful commitments to service, carrying forward Omega Delta Phi’s mission by expanding access to higher education for first-generation and underrepresented students across Oklahoma.
